The Curator

At first glance, The Curator in Legazpi Village in Makati may seem like your average coffee shop. But don't be fooled by its understated exterior. With its raw concrete walls, warm wooden accents, and the smell of its delicious pick-me-up drinks, who knew that this unassuming spot also served cocktails and spirits?

The Curator, named the Best Bar in the Philippines for seven consecutive years and a fixture on Asia’s Best Bars list since 2016, has a quiet, understated charm that has nurtured a strong community over the years. By night, the vibe is different. As you make your way to the back and enter a door, the space shifts into a cozy lounge where they regularly host bar takeovers and serve their signature cocktails. Its one-of-a-kind menu tells notable stories and names, each paired with a cocktail and flavor profile to explore. Just this month, The Curator announced its “biggest menu yet” on social media: People We’d Like to Have a Drink With v.2. This latest collection features a range of cocktails, including the First Refrain, Golden Ticket, and Sycip Sweet and Sour. Coffee lovers can also indulge in unique brews like the Banana Latte and Champorado Latte. A delightful experience from start to finish, The Curator remains a hidden gem waiting to be discovered—if you haven’t yet.
