Angelica Panganiban shares why Glaiza de Castro was absent at her US wedding

Angelica Panganiban explained the absence of Glaiza de Castro, one of her closest friends in show business, at her US wedding back in December.

The local star had a quick question-and-answer portion with her followers on Instagram on Friday, Nov. 22, where she openly talked about her longtime friendship with Glaiza.

In the early parts of the session, she said they've known each other since 2004. "Mas matanda ako ng decimal point," she joked.

She noted how she and Glaiza have remained close to this day by talking to each other at least once a week, "kahit simpleng padalahan lang ng nakakatawang meme."

One of her fans then asked Glaiza was not able to attend her December wedding with Gregg Homan, to which she replied, "Kasi papunta siyang Korea para sa work."

"[Hindi] siya pwedeng alis nang alis. Magkausap naman kami palagi ng mga panahon na 'yun," she added.

Angelica and Gregg tied the knot in the US on Dec. 31 last year, with notable personalities like Bela Padilla and Kim Chiu as their witnesses. They had their second wedding in April.

First meeting in 2020, the couple announced their engagement on Oct. 8, 2022. Less than a month prior, they welcomed their first child together, Amila Sabine, whom they fondly call Baby Bean on Sept. 20.
