Kaia Gerber, Austin Butler break up after three years of dating—report

Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler have reportedly called it quits after being together for three years. 

Sources confirmed to entertainment outlets like TMZ and PEOPLE Magazine that the two have ended their relationship late last year. The actor was also absent from Gerber's Mexico trip with her family for the New Year. 

The 23-year-old model-actress and the 33-year-old Elvis star first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted attending a yoga session together in Los Angeles in December 2021. They officially went public with their romance during W Magazine's annual Best Performances party in March 2022.  

The former pair graced the red carpets of prestigious events together, including the MET Gala and Cannes Film Festival in 2022 and the Golden Globes and Oscars afterparty in 2023.  

PEOPLE Magazine reported that the two were "going strong" in May 2024, noting they were seen "happy and in love" in numerous dates. Prior to this, Gerber was also seen at the London premiere of Butler’s movie, Dune: Part Two, in February of the same year. 

Gerber previously dated Euphoria star Jacob Elordi until they split in November 2021. Butler, meanwhile, was in an eight-year relationship with High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens.
