CHARY MERCADO

The author is a journalist who writes for and about children. A former colum- nist for Smart Parenting magazine, in 2021, she published a book about her experience of adoption in the Philippines called Other People’s Children and How I Made Them Mine. In 2022, she launched a comic book series to educate children about online sexual abuse, and also serves in the Philippine Matching Committee for Intercountry Adoptions.
