Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are in a “getting to know each other” stage
Love, or a growing friendship, between pop diva Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce is in the air.
A source tells PEOPLE Magazine that the two have not yet defined their relationship and are “still getting to know each other." The insider added, "It’s nothing too serious."
Although they spend time together, Travis still puts his duty as a professional football player on top of his list. “During the NFL season, his priority is the Chiefs, and it’s all about the team,” the insider continued.
The rumored couple doesn’t seem to be under any pressure to take action, another source said, suggesting they are taking their time to figure out their relationship at their own pace.
Taylor was seen again last Sunday in a match between the Chiefs and the New York Jets, where she crossed paths with Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce. It was in the Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 24 that they first spent time together in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
A third source tells PEOPLE that “Donna likes Taylor and thinks she’s very sweet and down to earth,” showing how Taylor has left the Kelce family with good impressions.
Taylor watched the game in a suite at the East Rutherford, New Jersey stadium in last Sunday's game where she was also spotted putting an arm around Donne. The pop superstar's friends and fellow stars Sophie Turner, Blake Lively, Robyn Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Sabrina Carpenter, and Antoni Porowski joined her in watching the competition.
Brittany Mahomes, the spouse of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, joined Taylor in the suite after having dinner the previous evening.
In the recent podcast of Travis and Jason, titled "New Heights," Travis mentioned how smitten his family was with Taylor after spending time with her during the game last Sept. 24.
“I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her — the friends and family,” Travis shared his loved ones’ reactions to her who met Taylor at the game.
“Everybody was talking about her in great light,” he added.
