Go Yoon Jung confirmed to star in 'Hospital Playlist' spin-off series
Hospital Playlist is getting a spin-off series, and it will star Go Yoon Jung!
According to a report by South Korean media outlet Soompi, tvN announced on Wednesday, Sept. 20, that Go Yoon Jung will star in the upcoming drama series dubbed A Life of a Resident That Will Be Wise Someday.
She is set to play a first-year resident in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at a hospital in Jongro—a branch of Yulje Medical Center. Possibly joining her as cast is actress Shin Si Ah who was a part of the action-horror film The Witch: Part 2. The Other One which starred Kim Da-mi, Lee Jong-suk, and Park Eun-bin.
The story will follow the “realistic and relatable” stories of doctors and residents at a university hospital, specifically exploring themes of friendships.
It will be directed by Shin Won Ho and will be written by Lee Woo Jung—the same tandem behind the Hospital Playlist and Reply series. It is slated to be released in the first half of 2024.
Go Yoon Jung is best known for her roles in the hit drama series, Alchemy of Souls, Law School, and Moving, among others.
