Atasha Muhlach on joining showbiz and beauty pageants: ‘I’m not closing my doors to anything’
Atasha Muhlach said she is open to joining beauty pageants and even entering showbiz in the future.
When asked about the possibility of her stepping into the limelight, the daughter of Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales opened up about realizing that it’s something she wants to pursue one day.
“It’s only because it’s a platform that allows me to express my creativity. Growing up, I’ve always been a creative kid. I love to paint, I love to play music, I just love to always try new things,” she told online publication Preview.
It’s worth noting that Atasha has made her theatrical debut in 2011, which she undoubtedly enjoyed. “When I did Sound of Music when I was younger, it just brought in so much happiness because I was able to meet people of different ages, different walks of life, and it was just nice—all of us coming together to create this one project and for everything to just kind of harmonize,” she recalled.
If she were an actress, Atasha shared she would love to recreate 2002 film Kailangan Kita, which stars her dad alongside Claudine Barretto, because she loved its production.
Aside from entering showbiz, the Filipina model also expressed her openness to being a beauty queen someday. “I’m not closing my doors to anything, so we’ll see where the future takes us.”
Atasha represented the Philippines at the Le Bal des Debutantes in 2022. The fashion and charity event is one of the most prestigious debutante balls in the world, bringing together 20 young females from the upper class residing in different parts of the globe.
