Taylor Swift reacts to Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt’s cover of 'All Too Well': 'This monologue is everything'
Ryan Gosling's performance of I'm Just Ken at the Academy Awards was iconic, but the actor is taking it up another notch with his newest performance of a Taylor Swift song.
When he was a guest on Saturday Night Live, The Fall Guy star sang a rendition of the pop superstar's smash hit All Too Well with Emily Blunt.
In the monologue, Gosling initially spoke about "letting go" of his Barbie character and how the best way to do it is by singing.
"You know, when you play a character that hard, that long, just letting go feels like a breakup, and for processing a breakup, there's really only one thing that can help: the music of the great Taylor Swift," the 43-year-old actor said as he wore a white fur coat and shades like his Ken character.
As the actor sings, Blunt eventually emerges in the scene, trying to force the former to snap out of his character and let go. The former ended up singing an homage to Kitty, her character in the award-winning thriller-historical drama Oppenheimer.
'This monologue is everything'
Taylor Swift then took to her social media about her reaction to the cover, saying she may accidentally catch herself singing this version on one of her tours.
"All Too Well (Ryan and Emily's Version) !!! Watch me accidentally catch myself singing this version on tour. This monologue is EVERYTHING," Swift wrote.

The Midnights singer previously performed the 10-minute song on SNL in 2021 as she released All Too Well: The Short Film and Red (Taylor's Version) in that year.
All Too Well is a breakup ballad that depicts the short-lived relationship of a couple, also compounded by a 9-year age gap, whose ups and downs led to them falling apart.
