Ogie Alcasid's daughter Leila engaged to rapper Curtismith
Singer-songwriter Leila Alcasid, 26, just got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, 30-year-old rapper Mito Fabie, a.k.a. Curtismith.
Leila, the eldest daughter of OPM icon and comedian Ogie Alcasid, shared photos of her and Mito in an Instagram post on Sept. 29. One photo showed Leila showing the ring, while another photo showed her kissing him on the cheek.
"The most special anniversary gift," Leila said in her caption.
Ogie congratulated her daughter and future son-in-law in the comments section.
"The Lord bless you both. I am truly beyond happy for you two. Love you congratulations," he said.
Mito, meanwhile, replied, "Thanks so much tito. Love you!!!"
Leila's mother, former beauty queen Michelle van Eimeren, congratulated her and Mito on Instagram Story.
"Congratulations on your engagement," she said, sharing Leila's post. "Love you both." The story was filled with red heart emojis.
Other celebrities who gave their well-wishes to the newly engaged couple include Nadine Lustre, Darren Espanto, Gabbi Garcia, Iza Calzado, Hannah Pangilinan, Gary Valenciano, Chie Filomeno, Ria Atayde, Dani Barretto, and Billy Crawford.
Leila announced that she's dating Mito in 2019.
Last year, Ogie made the headlines after he felt uneasy about Leila and Mito living together ahead of marriage, saying she didn't talk to him about it.
Nevertheless, Ogie accepted her decision, noting she's already an adult. He also said that he's proud of Leila for not asking money from him "at all."
