Taylor Sheesh, the country’s foremost Taylor Swift impersonator, reportedly got attacked by a crowd member during her show in Bayambang, Pangasinan.

Taylor Sheesh, whose real name is Mac Coronel, on X quote tweeted a user who wrote, “GRABEEEE YUNG NANAKIT KAY TAYLOR SHEESH SA BAYAMBANGGGG. Ang ayos ayos na nagpeperform e.”

“This is traumatic. Literally. I’m shaking rn,” Coronel said.

It isn’t immediately clear how she was assaulted on stage.

Despite what happened, Coronel thanked Bayambang for the “warm welcome,” even as she shared a clip of her performance.

“Thank you to Mayor Nina Jose Quiambao for inviting us and to my fellow Swifties thank you thank you for coming!”

Quiambao, meanwhile, went live on Facebook to apologize to Coronel.

“Here in Bayambang, we’re a very inclusive, very progressive town,” she said. “We love the LGBT community and we serve all races, all genders. We strongly condemn the act of one individual last night towards Taylor Sheesh.”

Quiambao said she’s “very upset” with what happened, assuring Coronel that justice would be served toward the attacker, whom she only identified as “E.”

“Right now, this individual is in prison,” the mayor said. “Cases will be filed against him.”

Coronel has been professionally impersonating Swift since 2017. She has performed in malls and has gone viral on social media, which eventually led to international attention.

She was featured on Good Morning America last September 2023.

In November, she became the endorser of makeup brand Maybelline New York and performed in Singapore, her first gig outside the Philippines.
