Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung confirmed to star in new rom-com drama with Park Yoon
With the recent success of Girls’ Generation’s comeback and her drama with Ji Changwook titled "If You Wish Upon Me," Choi Sooyoung is out to capture the hearts of SONEs once again before the year ends.
On Sept. 15, South Korean broadcasting network MBC confirmed the participation of Sooyoung and her new lead partner, Park Yoon, in the drama Please Send Me a Fan Letter.
According to a report by Soompi, the heartwarming drama features Sooyoung as Han Kang Hee, an actress who’s currently facing a crisis in her career because of a fan letter. Through an eventful encounter, she will meet Yoon's Bang Jun Suk, a single father raising his sick daughter.
Bang Jun Suk is a heartwarming person who only wants to protect his daughter, especially since she’s undergoing chemotherapy. That's why, when his daughter writes a letter to her favorite actress, he takes it upon himself to fake the responses.
According to the production team of her upcoming drama, the series has the perfect cast and emphasized Sooyoung and Yoon’s unmissable chemistry. Please Send Me a Fan Letter is set to air later this year with 4 episodes.

She made her acting debut in 2007, marking her 15th year in the industry this 2022. Whereas his co-actor Yoon made his debut in 2010 with a minor role in the movie Move My Lips.
Both actors are former artists of SM Entertainment. Sooyoung is currently under Saram Entertainment while Yoon Park is under H& Entertainment.
