Awra Briguela takes pride as dad earns master's degree
Awra Briguela’s dad, Oneal Brian Briguela, just earned his master’s degree!
The comedian took to Instagram on Tuesday, March 12 to celebrate her dad’s achievement of finishing his master’s degree in business administration.
“Congratulations on all your well-deserved success, Pa!” she wrote.
In a previous interview, the Comedy Island star shared that she financially supported her father’s education.
“Diba po ang sarap bumili ng gamit na pinagtrabahuhan? Ang sarap din makita ang tatay mo na nakapagtapos nang dahil sa 'yo,” she said. Oneal finally graduated in college in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in business management.

In an interview with Karen Davila in 2021, Oneal shared why he chose to return to his studies.
"Iba kapag may aral. Iba 'yung nakapag graduate ka. Ayaw ko din naman [dumating sa point] 'yng mga anak ko [ganoon]," he said.
Awra was also part of Filipino TV shows and films The Super Parental Guardians, Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids, The Kangks Show, and Prime Video’s Comedy Island, among others.
