Kris Jenner undergoes hysterectomy amid ovary tumor diagnosis
Kris Jenner shared she underwent a hysterectomy following the discovery of a "growing" tumor in her body.
In the teaser for The Kardashians' upcoming episode on July 18, the momager is seen sharing a health update and recovering from surgery—with her boyfriend Corey Gamble as well as Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick by her side.
"I'm done with surgery and I feel great," she said.
In the reality show's previous episode that aired last July 11, Kris opened up about preparing for hysterectomy—a surgery done to remove the uterus. "It started out as just getting some ovaries removed, and then today I got a phone call."
According to her, the doctor's "found something" and advised that having her ovaries and uterus taken out would be "best" for her health.
She also said that they gave her "six of the best parts of my whole life"—her six children: Khloe, Kim, Kourtney, and Rob as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
"I’m very emotional about it because when you’re young, you start talking about wanting a family," she shared. "It was all we talked about literally for 40, 50 years. So, here we are now talking about it again, and it’s the other side of the process."
Kris revealed her tumor diagnosis in May on the series' fifth installment that aired in the same month.
The Kardashians is an American reality television show that revolves around the Kardashian-Jenner family.
