Alden Richards wants to keep details of relationship with Kathryn Bernardo 'personal'
Alden Richards talked anew about the real score between him and Kathryn Bernardo, saying he prefers to keep it “personal."
In an interview with lifestyle magazine Preview for its May issue, the actor opened up about the success of their love team, KathDen after they co-starred in the film, Hello, Love, Goodbye in 2019.
“I was actually surprised [with] how people reacted to [us],” he began. “I don't want to be the first person to say a lot of things about it, but I'm glad that it's being received well.”
Outside their roles as Ethan and Joy in the movie, the two continued to make headlines, especially after their recent sightings together at Kathryn’s birthday and housewarming parties.
“The friendship never ended. Naging solid din talaga yung samahan naming lahat [when we were filming]. And right now, I'm just quite overwhelmed,” he shared.
ICYMI, Alden made rounds online after he surprised Kathryn with a huge flower bouquet and a Baccarat gift for her birthday.
At Kathryn’s housewarming, Alden was seen grabbing drinks from the bar with Kathryn and later holding a tray with glasses for other guests. In other clips, the actor was smiling and laughing while watching the party host dancing.
Despite speculations on their real score, the Five Breakups and Romance star remained tight-lipped, saying he wants it to “be personal.”
“Whatever is happening between Kath and I, I really want it to be personal,” he stressed.
Before this, Alden commented on his relationship with the actress, saying, “What you see is what you get.”
"Hindi lang din talaga kailangan lagi ipamalita sa social media 'yung mga ganiyan. You know, sometimes 'yung mga personal things that's happening, better be personal na lang," he said.
