Issa Pressman says she's 'fully healed' physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually: 'I am happy'

Issa Pressman shared that she's "fully healed" on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level.

In an Instagram post on Sept. 7, Issa opened up about her healing and recovery as she shared photos and videos of her and rumored boyfriend James Reid.

A video in the carousel sees Issa with a closed-mouth smile as she makes hand gestures while James is by her side. James is also seen in a scrub suit as Issa appears to be in a wheelchair.

A writing on the surface, meanwhile, read, "Remember, pain is also an opportunity to learn and love." It was signed with, "A message to the soul."

There are also vegetables, as well as a yellow card that states, "Your body has an amazing capacity to correct itself."

Issa didn't specify where she healed from, though noted that  her doctor already "cleared" her on Sept. 7, and that she will share her story "next time."

"Been hiding in my little cave," she said. "Now I can say, once again, I am brave. All the blacks and grays will fade, all my colors are coming back."

She noted that she's still "putting the work in every day."

"Been saying 'I am healing,'" Issa said, "now I'm saying, 'I am happy.'"

Issa and James sparked dating rumors last March, when they shared photos of each other during Harry Styles' Love on Tour concert in Manila. The photos included a mirror selfie as they held each other's hands.

But their "soft launch" got mixed reactions, as Issa had been accused of being a third party during James's relationship with Nadine Lustre. James and Nadine announced their breakup in January 2020, though said it actually happened in November 2019.

Days later, James took to Twitter and Instagram Story to address criticisms against Issa, saying past rumors about them "are just that, rumors."

Without explicitly confirming nor denying their relationship, James said he felt the need to speak up "now" because "this is the start of something beautiful,” which he said he won't let anyone take away from him.

“All you need to know from me," he said, "is that [I’m] the happiest I’ve ever been," he said.
