Apart from taking over music charts and setting records, Taylor Swift has now become the richest female musician in the world, with an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion (over P90 billion).

In the latest net worth update by Forbes, Swift is now among the richest female musicians, thanks to her record-breaking Eras Tour, which is set to conclude this year. She has surpassed Rihanna’s previous record of $1.4 billion (nearly P80 billion).

However, Forbes stated that the latter still holds the title of “Richest Female Musician of All Time” as she previously recorded an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion (over P100 billion), according to an NME report.

The 34-year-old pop star is now the second-richest musician in the world, following rap mogul and entrepreneur Jay-Z, who currently has an estimated net worth of $2.5 billion (over P142 billion).

Swift first achieved billionaire status in October 2023, making her the first musician to be included in the billionaire ranking primarily based on her songs and performances. According to Forbes, her fortune comprises nearly $600 million (P34 billion) from royalties and touring, another estimated $600 million from her music catalog, and approximately $125 million (P7 billion) in real estate.

The All Too Well singer also ranked 24th in Forbes’ May 2024 list of “America’s Richest Self-Made Women” and fifth in the “World’s Most Powerful Women” list in December 2023.

She recently set a record for being the most-awarded artist in the MTV Video Music Awards history, holding a total of 30 wins in her career, surpassing Beyonce's solo artist record of 26 wins.

Swift recently wrapped up the UK and European legs of her record-breaking world tour. She is now set to begin the final stretch of the tour in Miami on October 18, leading up to the last show on December 8 at Canada’s BC Stadium.
