2PM's Taecyeon is heading to Manila this September for fan meeting

Mark your calendars this September, fans of Ok Taecyeon, as the South Korean singer and actor is coming to Manila for a fan meeting.

On his social media pages, Taecyeon announced that he is set to launch his Asian fan meeting tour titled "SpecialTY" beginning September, with the Philippines having a Sept. 23 date.

Details on the venue and ticket prices are yet to be announced. 

Taecyeon rose to fame as a member of K-pop group 2PM, which was born from an eleven-member band known as One Day that eventually split into 2PM and a similar but independent group known as 2AM.

He was assigned as the main rapper of the group, composed of Jun. K, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho and Chansung. After making their debut with the song 10 Out of 10, they subsequently released other hit songs such as A.D.T.O.Y, Go Crazy!, and Come Back When You Hear This Song.

Taecyeon eventually ventured into acting with the television series Cinderella's Sister before landing roles in Secret Royal Inspector & Joy, Vincenzo, and more.
