Benny Blanco's engagement ring for Selena Gomez appears to be a nod to one of her popular songs.

The Rare Beauty founder took to social media on Thursday to share the exciting news of her engagement and has since been dazzling fans with glimpses of her stunning engagement ring.

The ring boasts a stunning marquise-shaped diamond set on a gold pavé band. And if you've listened to Good for You, you'll recognize the inspiration behind this gorgeous piece of jewelry.

"I'm on my marquise diamonds," Selena sings. "I'm a marquise diamond / Could even make that Tiffany jealous / You say I give it to you hard / So bad, so bad / Make you never wanna leave / I won't, I won't."

E! News reported that Ann Grimmett, the vice president of Merchandising at Jared Jewelers, said the ring is "about six carats" and is believed to be valued at "around $255,000."

Following the engagement news, Selena's celebrity friends Taylor Swift, Cardi B, Gwyneth Paltrow, Lily Collins, and more congratulated the Only Murders in the Building star in her post, which now has over 18 million likes.

Taylor, who just ended her "Eras Tour," said she "will be the flower girl."

Lily also wrote, "Ahhhhhhhh yes yes yes!! Best news ever. Couldn’t be more happy for you both."

"HONEY!! Congratulations sweet mama," Jennifer Aniston said.

Benny also left a comment on the post, saying "hey wait… that’s my wife."

Selena said in a February interview that she feels the "safest" with Benny.

“Without getting into too much detail, I think it's just really important to meet someone that respects you,” the artist explained. “And I think it's really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in. But I'd have to say overall it's the safest that I feel and it's been really lovely and I've only grown through it, so it's awesome.”

Before she met the music producer, the actress planned to adopt a child when she turned 35 if she had not met anyone.

"It just happens when you least expect it," she said.

Selena and Benny first worked together on a song titled I Can't Get Enough in March 2019 and again collaborated in 2023 for Single Soon. They confirmed they were dating in December 2023.
