BTS' Jungkook tests positive for COVID-19 before Grammy performance
BTS member Jungkook has tested positive for COVID-19 shortly after arriving in the US.
BIGHIT MUSIC shared the news on the social media app WeVerse, promising fans that he will be in quarantine until results turn out negative.
"Jungkook tested negative on a PCR test in Korea, and he departed for the United States on Sunday, March 27 (KST) in preparation for the Grammy Awards performance," the statement reads as per K-entertainment site Soompi.
"After arriving in Las Vegas, he felt a slight discomfort in his throat and promptly took a rapid PCR test and a standard PCR test on the afternoon of Sunday, March 27 (PT).
"Jungkook’s participation in the future activities in the United States will be determined by the local COVID-19 regulations, and we are actively in discussion with the awards organizer," they concluded.
In an Instagram story shortly after the announcement, Jungkook announced in Korean that he was feeling fine.

All members of the global K-Pop sensation have now been infected with COVID-19, with J-Hope recently going into quarantine after testing positive on March 24.
RM, J-Hope, SUGA, Jimin, and V are set to hold a four-day “Permission to Dance On Stage” concert in Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on April 8, 9, 15, and 16.
