Bae Seul Gi announces pregnancy

Bae Seul Gi is having a baby!

The South Korean actress on March 17 uploaded a vlog titled "Shy Confession" to "deliver good news" that she and her content creator husband Lee Seob are expecting their first child.

"I sat in front of the camera to deliver good news. It's good and I'm nervous. It's been four years since we got married. Last year, the 3rd anniversary passed, and the baby angel I wanted so much came," she said.

The Oasis actress also revealed how she shared the news with her husband after confirming her pregnancy through an at-home pregnancy test, which she posted pictures of on Instagram.

“After I confirmed that the pregnancy test showed two lines, I gifted my husband the test with a flower bouquet and handwritten letter when he got back home,” Seul Gi continued.

The singer-turned-actress also posted pictures on her Instagram account writing, “At last, a precious life has come to me as well…! It’s only been nine weeks, so I’m cautiously delivering the news. I’m so grateful and happy…!”

Their baby's nickname Leeseul, she said, is a combination of her and Lee Seob's names.

Seul Gi and Lee Seon tied the knot in 2020. She began her career as a member of a girl group called The Red. She also released her solo album titled The First Album.

As an actress, Seul Gi starred in Amor Fati in 2021, and dramas like The Greatest Love, Still Loving You, and Risky Romance, among others.

She last appeared in a drama called Oasis alongside Seol In Ah, Choo Young Woo, and Jang Dong Yoon.
