Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have broken up—report
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have called it quits.
According to a report by Entertainment Tonight on Sunday, April 9, the two have split up after being together for six years.
An insider told the entertainment portal that their breakup happened “a few weeks ago," adding that it was “amicable” and was “not dramatic.”
The source said their relationship “had just run its course.” It’s also the reason why he “hasn’t been spotted at any shows."
The Grammy winner kicked off her Eras Tour in March in Glendale, Arizona, featuring tracks to represent her 10-album discography from the self-titled Taylor Swift to the most recent Midnights. It’s set to stop by Tampa, Florida next week.
The American singer and the British actor started their romance in 2016 and kept it low-key since.
They started working on music together during the COVID-19 pandemic, with collaborations on Taylor’s 2020 albums Folklore and Evermore. PEOPLE reported that Alwyn wrote multiple songs with the singer under the pseudonym William Bowery.
