Kris Aquino says she has to ‘semi-isolate’ as her immunity ‘went down’ due to her five autoimmune diseases
Kris Aquino gave a health update as she greeted her son Josh on his birthday.
In an Instagram post on Monday, June 5, the “Queen of All Media” penned a sweet message for Josh, saying that while she wanted to be with him on his special day, she would need “a year and a half minimum of treatment” in the United States for her five autoimmune conditions.
“Mama will need to semi-isolate in three weeks because my immunity already went down,” she revealed.
The TV personality said she went to the mall the day prior so she could pick new clothes and gifts for her son, which will be delivered to him by a “super special person.”
“Some people who love and miss you from here + 1 super special person will arrive in a few days to personally bring home all your gifts,” she added.
“Happy birthday to our super guapo kuya. I love you so much and yes, I’m taking care of myself (that’s how he ends all his messages, by telling me he loves me so much and to ‘take care of yourself, mama’),” Kris concluded.
The multimedia star revealed in May that her autoimmune diseases have grown to five, with a possibility of another one.
She has been in the United States since June 2022 for her medical tests and procedures. Josh is currently staying in the Philippines, while Kris’ other son Bimby is also coming back to the country for his studies.
