Belle Mariano has launched her YouTube channel that goes beyond her life in the spotlight

From Gen-Z icon to vlogger.

Teen star Belle Mariano entered her vlogger era as she launched her YouTube channel. Using the tagline “Belle and Beyond,” the actress described her platform as a page that goes beyond her life as a celebrity.

“Beyond the characters. Beyond the script. Beyond the teen years. This is Belle and Beyond. Life with no pretensions,” Mariano wrote in the description of her launch video.

Mariano’s first vlog, which is packaged as a “Get to know” video, showed the actress talking about her firsts. Some of the topics she touched on are her first audition, first trip outside the Philippines, first teleserye, and more.

According to Mariano, her first teleserye was the 2012 series Lorenzo’s Time starring Zaijan Jaranilla, Carmina Villarroel, Amy Austria-Ventura, and Gina Pareño, among others.

The 20-year-old star added that she first stepped into the spotlight as a commercial model before getting cast in the now-defunct youth-oriented show Goin’ Bulilit. 

“I was nine or 10 at that time. Noong 9 kasi, I was doing commercials. And 10, I was doing Goin’ Bulilit and teleseryes at that time. So sabay ko silang ginawa [Lorenzo’s Time and Goin’ Bulilit], it was a very fun experience,” Mariano said. 

She soon rose to fame after starring in the film Four Sisters Before the Wedding and the web series He’s Into Her alongside her onscreen partner Donny Pangilinan.
