It's no secret that celebrities lead a busy life with their filming schedules and TV appearances. But now that Christmas has finally come, they are able to make the most out of the holly jolly occasion by surrounding themselves with the ones they hold close to their hearts.
From family bonding activities to uplifting holiday greetings for their friends and followers, here's how Pinoy celebrities are celebrating the most wonderful time of the year.
Kris Aquino
Despite the multiple autoimmune diseases plaguing her body, to the point that she had to seek medical help in the US for more than six months now, Kris Aquino still wanted to celebrate Christmas by writing a heartfelt appreciation message to her supporters who have been there for her as she continues to swim through rough waters.
"Discussing my four diagnosed autoimmune ailments (two are life-threatening) and a highly likely fifth one because of my distinct physical manifestations isn’t something I want to do on Christmas Eve, but I have to because gusto kong mag-thank you sa inyong lahat who still keep me, my sons, and my sisters and their families back home in your prayers," the "Queen of All Media" wrote in an Instagram post.
"We may be an ocean apart, but it matters so much to know that many of you who don’t even know me or my sons personally, care enough to remember us and want me to win this seemingly endless battle with my autoimmune conditions," she added.
Kris went on to say that her wish for this Christmas is to repay all the kindness she received from her supporters by staying strong in her battle.
Sharon Cuneta
Sharon Cuneta is known for valuing her nearest and dearest the most, as shown just recently, when she celebrated the 22nd birthday of Kakie—her daughter with her husband Kiko Pangilinan. This Christmas is no different for the Megastar as she marked the jolly season with her tight-knit family, including her daughter KC Concepcion, while wearing matching Christmas sweaters.
"Masaya ang Pasko kapag pamilya’y kumpleto. Isang makabuluhang Pasko sa inyong lahat. A blessed, meaningful Christmas from our family to yours—Kiko, Sharon, Kc, Kakie, Yellie and Mimig," she captioned one of her posts.
Winwyn Marquez
This Christmas is particularly special for Winwyn Marquez as it is her first time to celebrate it with her bundle of joy Luna.
"Our first Christmas with the most special gift from God that we have ever received. From our family to yours, we wish you a Merry Merry Christmas! May your year be full of blessings and happiness," Winwyn wrote as she posted a picture of her seven-month-old baby together with her non-showbiz fiancé.
Winwyn recently had their bundle of joy baptized at a local church, where many prominent personalities got invited to the special occasion.
Rayver Cruz and Julie Anne San Jose
After finally proclaiming their love for each other in public during their first concert together last month, it would seem only natural for Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz to spend the holidays together.
In an Instagram post, the pair posted a picture of themselves wrapped in each other's arms as they smiled ear to ear. They also celebrated Christmas with Rayver's brother Rodjun and his wife Dianne Medina.
"Merry Christmas from our families to yours," they greeted.
Vhong Navarro
It looks like Vhong Navarro had a happy Christmas with his family amid the rape charges he is facing from model Deniece Cornejo.
The It's Showtime host could be seen with no worries on his face as he surrounded himself with his loved ones during the holidays. He also took the time to express his gratitude to his supporters for all their encouragement toward him.
"Napakarami kong pinagpapasalamat. Thank you, Jesus! Happy Birthday! Sa lahat ng nag dasal at umalalay sa akin, maraming maraming salamat. God bless! Blessed Christmas sa ating lahat! Pinakamasayang Pasko kasama ang aking pamilya at mga kaibigan," Vhong wrote.
His wife Tanya earlier said that it's "going to be a blessed Christmas, a very good Christmas for the family" after Vhong was temporarily released from imprisonment on bail at P1 million.
