Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse engaged after 5 years of dating—report

Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse are now engaged, according to a report.

An insider confirmed to PEOPLE Magazine that the couple is taking their relationship to the next level. "They are engaged. They both want to be married. It's important for them," the source is quoted as saying.

This comes days after they sparked engagement speculations, which began when TMZ reported that Suki was seen wearing a diamond ring on her left hand during a stroll with Robert in London.

Suki announced that she's expecting a baby with Robert in November. "I decided to wear something particularly sparkly today ’cause I thought it might distract you from something else that’s going on,” she said while gesturing toward her stomach onstage during set at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City.

A source also told PEOPLE that they are "looking forward to becoming parents."

"Even though they are both professionals who work a great deal, this is something they want. They know their lives will change, and they are excited," they said.

The two sparked romance rumors in 2018 after being spotted together in different locations in London. They made their first public appearance in December 2022 at the Dior Men’s Fall 2023 show in Giza, Egypt.
