Park Eun Bin, the South Korean actress well-known for her role as a promising young lawyer with Asperger's syndrome and high IQ in Extraordinary Attorney Woo, is reportedly teaming up once again with the director of the series for a new drama.
According to a report from STARNEWS, Eun Bin will be starring in the new drama with the working title The B Team.
Meanwhile, the actress's agency, Namoo Actors, said that Eun Bin is "currently reviewing" the role.
"The B Team is one of the projects Park Eun Bin is currently reviewing," the agency said.
According to Soompi, The B Team follows the journey of "flawed superhumans who are unable to control their superpowers, resulting in them inadvertently wielding their abilities."
Eun Bin will reportedly play the role of Eun Chae Ni, an intelligent, courteous, and hardworking granddaughter of a restaurant owner. As she ages, her unconventional heart condition leads to a gradual regression into childish behavior, making her life increasingly dangerous.
The 31-year-old South Korean actress debuted as a child actress in 1998's White Nights 3.98.
She is known for her lead roles in hit K-dramas such as Hello, My Twenties! (2016), Hot Stove League (2019), Do You Like Brahms? (2020), The King's Affection (2021), Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022) and Castaway Diva (2023).
Eun Bin bagged the Daesang Award (Grand Prize) for her role in Extraordinary Attorney Woo in the 59th edition of the Baeksang Arts Award. Daesang is the highest award that can be given to an artist in South Korea.
