Coleen Garcia pens sweet message to Billy Crawford for 6th wedding anniversary
Coleen Garcia had some heartfelt words for her husband Billy Crawford in celebration of their sixth wedding anniversary.
On her Instagram account, the actress recounted their special day at the altar as she shared some throwback pictures of some of their wedding scenes, which included a sweet kiss sealing their marriage.
"Six years married and living our dream life together," Coleen began.
She then opened up about having a mindset in the past where she would throw in the towel too easily until Billy came into her life and changed her perspective.
"Throughout my life, giving up and running away has often been the easiest answer to everything. I had given up on myself, my goals, my hobbies, and even some of the people in my life, more times than I could count. And then there was you," Coleen wrote.
"Thank you for being the first person to effectively teach me that giving up shouldn’t always have to be an option. Just by being you, you’ve taught me that the most beautiful, most fulfilling things in life come with hard work, perseverance, sacrifice, discipline, constant grace and forgiveness, and a strong sense of commitment," she added.
Because of Billy, the local star learned to apply these values in all areas of her life, allowing her to be a "much better person now because of it."
"Thank you for always being here to help me become the best version of myself, and also for making every effort to be the best you can be for us. I look forward to growing with you every single day until we’re old and gray," Coleen said.
Billy is currently in France for work, but Coleen wrote that she and their son Amari are missing him so much.
"Amari and I are counting the sleeps until you’re back home in our arms, but in the meantime, we know you’re killing it in France! We love you always and forever!" she ended.
In the comments section, Billy showed his appreciation to his wife with a simple but sincere message: "Awwwww, happy happy anniversary, my love. I miss and love you so, so much!"
The pair tied the knot in an intimate wedding in 2018 on Balesin Island. They welcomed Amari in September 2020 via home birth.
