Shakira leaves stage after a fan appeared to be filming up her skirt

Shakira abruptly left the stage while performing when an audience member appeared to be filming up her skirt.

In a fan-captured video, the singer-songwriter can be seen jiving into the music at the stage of Miami nightclub LIV on Sunday, Sept. 15. The video also showed Winnie Harlow, Anitta, Lele Pons, and Danna Paola grooving with the artist.

As the Hips Don't Lie singer danced, she can also be seen pulling the bottom of her dress down to ensure she's covered.

Out of nowhere, Shakira directed her gaze toward an audience, gesturing with her fingers to indicate that they were staring inappropriately.

After a few more seconds of dancing, the 47-year-old performer pulled down her skirt some more and gestured that she was done before leaving the stage.

As per PEOPLE, Shakira's representative declined to comment. The singer-songwriter also stayed mum on the incident.

Shakira, who made her recording debut at the age of 13, has been referred to as the "Queen of Latin Music."

She is known for her pop-dance hit songs Waka Waka (This Time For Africa), Whenever, Wherever, Underneath Your Clothes, and Hips Don't Lie, among others.

Shakira is set to release her upcoming single, Soltera.
