TikTok star Sammy Manese passes away
Sammy Manese, who became known for her makeup parodies and comedy sketches on TikTok, has passed away.
Sammy's sister, Bea, announced the passing of the Internet sensation in a Facebook post on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
"It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the untimely demise of our beloved family member, Sammy Manese," she wrote in the caption.
"May he be remembered for all the joy and laughter he shared with everyone," she added. "We ask for your prayers, respect, and privacy during this time," she continued.
Bea did not specify the cause of Sammy's death. There is still no available information on her funeral services.
Sammy rose to fame with her entertaining videos on social media, including pranks, game challenges, and makeup parodies. As of writing, she has garnered almost 300,000 followers on TikTok, 1.2 million followers on Facebook, and 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube.
Her first video titled Iba't Ibang Uri ng Mga Tindera (Laptrip 'to, Pramise) gained more than 2.8 million hits a year after it was posted in June 2019.
Her most viewed content on her self-titled YouTube channel is Lloyd Cadena Inspired (Mga Eksena sa Jeep), which has so far earned more than 14 million views.
