LOOK: Pangilinan family holds Despedida de Soltera for bride-to-be Ella Pangilinan
Ella Pangilinan had a dreamy send-off by her family ahead of her wedding with her non-showbiz partner, Enrique Miranda.
Her mom, actress Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan shared snippets from Ella's Despedida de Soltera held last week, which were captured by Nice Print Photography.
“We came together with our immediate family and the couple-to-be’s godparents for an intimate time not for goodbyes but for a celebration of love,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
“Words are not enough to describe the joy of seeing two people in love overflow to everyone around them as they include us in what they share in love, respect, and devotion to the Lord,” Maricel said.
“Since Ella was born, I have prayed for her future spouse, I have also prayed for her to be the right person for the one the Lord prepared for her,” she added.
The bride-to-be looked stunning in a cute cream cocktail dress by Vania Romoff, which she matched with muted makeup by RB Chanco. Enrique, meanwhile, kept his look simple in a blue outfit.
The party was attended by the couple’s nearest and dearest, including celebrities Donny Pangilinan, Kiko Pangilinan and his wife, Megastar Sharon Cuneta. In the short clips, her family and friends can be seen sharing their messages of love as well as fun-filled performances for the bride.

Unlike a bachelorette party, this marriage tradition gathers the couple’s family as well as their closest friends and relatives. This solemn ceremony centers on the bride’s journey en route to married life.
Ella is Maricel Laxa and Anthony Pangilinan's eldest daughter. She is a creative consultant who has worked her brilliance on various fashion brands.
Ella announced her engagement to Enrique in December 2022. They are set to get married in December.
