Korean singer-songwriter Nahee passes away at 24
South Korean singer-songwriter Lim Na Hee, or Nahee, has died at the age of 24.
According to reports, the singer-songwriter passed away last Nov. 8, but the details of the cause of her death was not disclosed.
Her funeral is scheduled for Nov. 10 at the Central Funeral Hall in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.
Fans on Reddit expressed their grief over the loss of the star, many of whom had only started to appreciate her music.
"I love some songs she has put out but never got a chance to know more about her while she was still here..........such a young talent, gone too soon. RIP," one Reddit user wrote.
"I was just listening to her songs for the first time literally the other day and was thinking I'd really get into her stuff since it's actually really good. Very sad to hear and I hope she rests in peace," another one said.
"Such a beautiful and talented soul, love her singles, if you’re into city pop you should definitely listen to her music. May she rest in peace," said another one.
Nahee made her debut in 2019 with the single Blue City. She joined the agency Mun Hwa In in September 2020 and released more music, including H! and Rose, which is a song dedicated to her fans.
Talking about the song, she said, "I always think of my songs as flowers. With this particular one, I want to narrate a heartfelt story to all those who adore these floral melodies of mine."
Aside from singing, Nahee also had a YouTube channel where she uploaded vlogs and cover videos.
