LOOK: Taylor Sheesh gushes over seeing Taylor Swift in 'Eras Tour' in Japan
Our very own Taylor Sheesh finally saw Taylor Swift in the flesh!
Mac Coronel, popularly known by her drag name Taylor Sheesh, shared photos of herself attending the "Eras Tour" in Japan on Thursday, Feb. 8.
“My Swiftie heart is so so so happy! This is my first time [to see] Taylor Swift and [watch] her concert live,” she wrote.
Sheesh attended the show in her best fit yet—her version of Swift’s Oscar de la Renta's "floral folklore" embroidered mini dress that the international performer wore to the 2021 Grammy Awards. It was created by local designer Robert Macdon Gayeta.
She also posted a Facebook reel of herself singing her heart out to Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince alongside other Filipino Swifties.
A superstar herself, more Swifties at the venue also took photos with Sheesh before the show.
“Just met Taylor Sheesh! @heymacyou. She’s so GORGEOUS and kind. Please enjoy staying Tokyo,” an X user wrote.
Sheesh made headlines both in local and international media last May for her jam-packed mall show in Quezon City.
She said she has been a hardcore Swiftie since 2009, the moment she heard Fifteen on the radio when she was about the same age.
“Nakarelate ako sa song since it’s about falling in love with someone at a young age, then narealize mo na ‘di pa kayo ready. Nagkaroon ako ng crush and nakarelate ako sa song,” she previously told PhilSTAR L!fe.
In September 2023, she was featured on the ABC News program Good Morning America, which showed the viral TikTok videos of her impersonating Swift at a mall. She had also done her version of the Eras Tour across the Philippines.
