‘Money Heist: Joint Economic Area’ to premiere on June 24
In the words of the teaser itself, “The public will watch the greatest show on earth live.”
Netflix has announced that Money Heist: Joint Economic Area, the Korean spinoff of the global hit series La Casa de Papel or Money Heist, will premiere on the streaming platform on June 24.
The streaming giant has announced the spinoff’s premiere on social media, along with a teaser video featuring the cast wearing the popular Salvador Dali-inspired masks and red jumpsuits.
“A robber who steals petty cash either gets killed after being chased or ends up in jail. But a robber who steals at a massive scale can change the world and even become a hero. Of all the money heists, we’ll pull off the biggest one yet. The public will watch the greatest show on earth live. And they will root for us,” an unidentified narrator said in the teaser.
