'The Voice Kids' Season 3 contestant dies at 17
Yohance Levi Buie, a former contestant in the third season of The Voice Kids, has passed away. He was 17.
His talent agency Virtual Playground Global announced his death in a Facebook post on Saturday, Nov. 11. The cause of his passing was not specified, but the management company noted the importance of seeking help if one is experiencing mental health problems.
"It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yohance Levi A. Buie. We are deeply saddened by this loss, and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time," it said in a statement, recalling how the personality's "remarkable talent" was able to shine in the entertainment industry since his participation in ABS-CBN's The Voice Kids.
"He continued to showcase his versatility as an actor in Reality MM Studios’ Day Zero on Amazon Prime, leaving a lasting impression with his exceptional performance. Yohance’s talents extended to the digital realm, where he charmed viewers in the Regal’s YouTube series The Day I Loved You," Virtual Playground Global added.
"His passion and dedication to his craft were evident in every role he took on, and he will be remembered for the indelible mark he left on the world of entertainment," it continued.

Yohance became part of Megastar Sharon Cuneta's team when he joined The Voice Kids in 2016.
