K-pop star Jessi draws laughs with reminder for Filipino fans after second Manila visit
K-pop star Jessi drew laughs as she proclaimed her love for her Pinoy fans and gave them a little reminder after her second visit to Manila.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Dec. 10, the Korean-American rapper expressed her gratitude to Filipinos for welcoming her back to the country for another incredible performance.
“Thank you for having me, @88rising. Love you, Manila!” she began.
The talented singer then added a little reminder for Pinoys, which highlighted the latter's sense of humor and love for laughs. “But y’all need to stop setting me up and teaching me bad words and telling me it means ‘I love you,’” she joked.
“Til we meet again,” added Jessi.
In some videos being shared online, Jessi can be seen cursing in Tagalog in the middle of her set, thinking that it could be translated as “I love you” in English.
