LOOK: Hidilyn Diaz and Julius Naranjo’s ‘free-spirited and laidback’ pre-wedding shoot

Hidilyn Diaz and Julius Naranjo’s pre-wedding photographs have been released, showing what it means to be “free-spirited and laidback—but still all fashion.”

In a series of snaps captured and shared by Mayad Studios, the couple can be seen all lovey-dovey as they posed with a breathtaking flower farm as their backdrop. “Whether frolicking through the flower fields or cuddled up with each other, this couple radiates romance,” the wedding photo and video company wrote in the caption. 

“A year after Hidilyn’s historic Olympic gold medal, here she is again sharing another magical moment with us,” they added.

“These two definitely captured our hearts with their love story. Despite many sacrifices, pain, letdowns, and trials, their unconditional love stood above the rest.”

Mayad Studios later posted a slideshow of the pair’s photos with the same caption.

The groom-to-be also gave a look at their pre-wedding pictures in his own Instagram page, keeping his caption short but sweet: “We’ve sacrificed a lot and had pushed back a lot for the country. However, now it’s different, we have bigger responsibilities and more to prove. But first, we want to celebrate US.”

“Here’s to more struggles, more training, more laughter, more success. Here’s to forever,” he wrote.

Hidilyn and Julius’s wedding is slated for July 26—a year after the bride-to-be’s historic win at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she took home the first Olympic gold medal for the Philippines.

Hidilyn’s manager Noel Ferrer recently shared the couple’s wedding entourage on Instagram, with Manny Pacquiao, Atty. Leni Robredo, Ramon Ang, and other notable personalities as their principal sponsors. Atom Araullo will be part of the groomsmen, while Iza Calzado-Wintle will be one of the bridesmaids. 

The pair got engaged on Oct. 16 after four years of dating.
