Kanye West draws mixed reactions for ‘Eazy’ M/V that shows Pete Davidson being kidnapped and buried alive

Published Mar 03, 2022 3:33 pm

It looks like the Kanye West and Pete Davidson feud is far from over.

West, now known as Ye, took his ongoing feud with Davidson to deadly heights with the release of his new music video for his collaborative song with The Game called Eazy. The track in fact has a direct jab aimed at the Saturday Night Live star with the lyrics, “God saved me from that crash / Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s *ss / Who?”

Some of the shady highlights of Eazy features Ye rapping as a claymation version of himself kidnaps Davidson and takes him into an abandoned area. Ye then buries Davidson alive up to his neck and sprinkles rose seeds on his head.

The music video ends with the cryptic line, “Everyone lived happily ever after, except skete you know who. Jk, he’s fine.”

Coincidentally, Eazy’s music video was released on the same day Ye’s marriage to Kim Kardashian in a Los Angeles court finalized their divorce.

Of course, music fans shared their thoughts about the music video on social media. Twitter user @kanyestreams1 said Eazy “really touched my heart,” describing it as “beautiful & cinematic.” (Warning: some posts contain explicit language.)

On the other hand, @star_stained said the music video was “disturbing” because it’s a form of “emotional abuse.” “I felt terrified, can’t imagine how Kim feels. He’s terrorizing her as punishment and I hope people will stop excusing this as art,” she added.

@zombieeyes210 said Ye needs to “f***ing chill.”

On the other hand, @MajestyRia praised West for dropping the music video the same day his divorce with Kardashian was finalized.

Davidson hasn’t released a statement about the music video, as of this writing.

Kardashian and Davidson started dating in October 2021 after she appeared in an episode of Saturday Night Live. The comedian spilled the beans about their relationship in a February 2022 report with People, calling the reality star his “girlfriend.”
