Heart Evangelista gives message for Pia Wurtzbach amid rumored rift: 'Sana hindi mangyari sa'yo ang nangyari sa'kin'

Heart Evangelista has spoken up about the alleged issue between her and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.

On Oct. 22, the actress-socialite said in a press conference for her upcoming reality show Heart World that she doesn't have beef with the beauty queen.

"Woman to woman, I never had a problem with Pia. In fact, I was one of those who cheered for her in the past. And I like to think it was the same for her."

Heart went on to say she was "touched" when the Miss Universe titleholder hopped on the "Heart made me do it" trend in 2022.

"But it's the people that she chose to surround herself with for specific reasons that makes this whole thing problematic," she said.

"If I had a message to Pia it would be, 'Congratulations. You have what you [need.] I wish you nothing but the best and good luck. Sana hindi mangyari sa'yo 'yung nangyari sa'kin.'"

On Oct. 14, makeup artist Justin Soriano, who was formerly part of Heart's glam team, defended Pia as she was accused of "stealing contacts" to introduce herself in the fashion world.

Asked about whether she'll open up about her former glam team on her new show the socialite said her past and present are "most definitely" part of her story. "As much as possible, I will show everything on Heart World."

Some members of Heart's team made the headlines in 2023 after Justin and stylist Jeck Aguilar were rumored to have had a falling out with the actress. The makeup artist denied that the distance between them was over money matters.

Pried about the issue, Heart simply said in a past interview that "Life is like that. Madami tayong pagdadaanan with our careers, with our personal life, but everything's there for a reason, and everything is for us to be stronger so we can face anything else in life."
