Bimby Aquino-Yap goes on a 'date' with Ogie Diaz's daughter: 'Ganda-ganda ng first girlfriend ko'

Bimby Aquino-Yap went on a "date" with Ogie Diaz's daughter Erin to take on the "boyfriend for a day" challenge.

As seen in Erin's vlog, Bimby spent some quality time with his "first girlfriend" at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure in California. The two clarified, however, that they were only doing it for fun.

At some point in the video, Bimby told Erin, "Ang ganda-ganda ng first girlfriend ko. Comes from a good family pa."

Later in their date, Erin asked Bimby to compare himself to a character from the animated film Inside Out, to which he answered that he relates the most to Fear. "Kasi takot ako mawala ka sa buhay ko," he joked.

The pair continued to enjoy each other's company as they checked out several tourist attractions in the theme park, all the while calling each other "honey" and delivering pick-up lines to each other.

"Ako 'yung jowa mo for a day. I'm your boyfriend for a day and a boyfriend should support his girlfriend," he told Erin when asked why he kept complimenting her throughout their "date."

"Everything is the best kapag may kasama kang maganda, matalino, at tsaka masipag," he added.

Their date ended on a high note as Bimby gifted Erin a pin of Ariel from The Little Mermaid so she could have a memento of their time together.

Bimby has been living in the US to take care of his mom Kris as she continues to battle multiple autoimmune diseases. He was recently interviewed by Ogie on how he's been coping with his mom's health, where he said it took him years to accept his mom's illness. He also admitted that there are times he feels "rattled" whenever Kris feels weak, but noted he acknowledges that he can only do so much to help her.

"Hindi ako Diyos, I can only do so much to alleviate her, to help her," he said.

"Pero at the end of the day, I can't fully take it away 'di ba? Kasi tao lang ako, tao lang si mama," he continued, adding, “All I can do is love her, support her, [and] take care of her."

He recently returned to the Philippines to focus on his studies.
