Pia Wurtzbach on pregnancy questions: ‘I wonder why this is considered a normal thing to ask?’
Pia Wurtzbach has responded to questions about her plans to have a baby with Jeremy Jauncey.
The Miss Universe 2015 titleholder recently had a question-and-answer session in her now-expired Instagram stories, where some of her followers kept asking her about her pregnancy plans with her businessman husband in the future.
“I guess I’ll start with this because literally every 4 questions I get, there’s one question about us having kids,” she said.
“Honestly, I find these questions so personal. I wonder why this is considered a normal thing to ask though? First it was ‘Kailan ka mag-aasawa?’ Now, it’s constantly, ‘Kailan kayo magkakaanak?’” she added.
Pia dismissed pregnancy speculations early this month, when a netizen commented on one of her pictures with Jeremy: “Guys, mag-anak na kayo.” To which, another IG user replied: “I think Pia [is] already pregnant. See, she [doesn’t] drink alcohol na.”
The beauty queen replied to their comments in the same thread: “Guys, please stop assuming like this. It’s not nice. Nao-offend mga ininom kong margarita.”
Pia tied the knot with Jeremy in an intimate beach wedding at North Island, Seychelles on March 24. They confirmed their romance in June 2020 and announced their engagement in May 2022.
