Anne Curtis mourns passing of her 11-year-old cat Mogwai
Actress-host Anne Curtis paid tribute to her 11-year-old cat that passed away on Sunday, June 30.
In an Instagram post, Curtis shared photos and a video of Mogwai's moments at home.
"On a rainy Sunday afternoon, after almost 11 years of being part of our family, our dearest Mogwai has crossed over the rainbow bridge," Curtis said in the caption.
"He will always my little gremlin munchkin. Sweet dreams old man. We are going to miss him," she added.
Her showbiz colleagues offered their sympathies in the comments section, including her It's Showtime co-host Amy Perez, Bela Padilla, Maxene and Saab Magalona, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Kakai Bautista, and Mica Javier.
"Omg no," Jess Wilson said.
"Rest well, Mogwai. Hugs, Anne," said Jessy Mendiola, whose husband Lucky Manzano dropped four disappointed face emojis and two red hearts.
Curtis is a certified animal lover who reportedly had four dogs, two cats, and a bird.
In a 2018 interview with ABS-CBN, Curtis said called her pets her "little family," which she looks forward to meeting after a long day at work.
"I don't think a human being could ever explain or could ever get how much your animal really loves you, especially your dogs or even your cats," she's quoted as saying. "People don't think that cats love you, but I will tell you, they're so malambing.”
