Park Minyoung rumored to be dating cryptocurrency businessman; agency says confirmation is ‘taking a long time’
What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim actress Park Minyoung is reportedly in a relationship with a businessman involved in cryptocurrency.
Per Korean media outlet Dispatch, Minyoung has been spotted with a businessman named Kang Jong-hyeon with ties to companies such as Vidente, Inbiogen, Bucket Studio, and cryptocurrency trading platform Bithumb LIVE.
The actress’ rumored boyfriend is also alleged to have ties with Chorokbaem Media which acquired Hook Entertainment, the actress’ current agency.
Amid Dispatch’s claims, Hook Entertainment said it is “taking a long time” to confirm Minyoung’s relationship since she’s currently filming the rom-com drama Love in Contract.
“Park Minyoung is currently filming the drama Love in Contract so it is taking a while to confirm the facts. We ask for your understanding in not being able to relay an exact statement quickly,” Hook Entertainment’s statement read, as translated by Soompi.
The actress gained worldwide recognition in the 2010 series Sungkyunkwan Scandal alongside Park Yoochun and Song Joongki. She also appeared in popular K-dramas City Hunter, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, and Forecasting Love and Weather.
