Kris Bernal and her non-showbiz husband Perry Choi celebrated the christening of their first child, Hailee Lucca.

The actress shared photos of the special affair captured by Nice Print Photography on Friday, June 21. Her Instagram carousel included an adorable portrait of Hailee in her bespoke baptismal gown as well as photos during her baptism at St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish in Makati.

“Christening day of Hailee Lucca B. Choi. May the Holy Spirit guide your steps and may you be protected by your guardian angels all your days!” she wrote in the caption.

“What a beautiful celebration it was, with family and friends,” she added.

The event was attended by their family’s nearest and dearest, including Kris' showbiz friends like Rita Daniela and Anthony Rosaldo.

Fans and celebrities sent their love to Hailee in the comments section of her post.

“Ninong is always here for you, Hailee,” entrepreneur Jim Reynold Zamora wrote.

“Ganda naman princess nyo,” actress Carmi Martin also commented.

Anthony also commented, “Love you, Hailee.”

Kris and Perry welcomed Hailee Luca in August 2023. They got engaged in February 2020 and tied the knot in September 2021.

In February, the actress opened up about her motherhood journey, which she describes as her “favorite era.”

“My to-do list is always full but so is my heart. I'm always on the verge of a meltdown but I'd be lost without her. My days feel long but they also go by in the blink of an eye. I sometimes feel suffocated by motherhood but I also found my purpose. I feel so many emotions in one day," she wrote.

She added, “As a mother, I'm not perfect, I make mistakes, I forget things, I lose my cool. And, some days I go a little crazy but it's okay because in the end, no one could ever love my child the way I do.”
