Ahtisa Manalo on Miss Cosmo Top 10 finish: 'Everything won't always go our way'
Ahtisa Manalo is looking on the bright side following her Top 10 finish at the Miss Cosmo 2024 pageant.
In her Instagram broadcast channel, the beauty queen had a few reminders for her fans after the Oct. 5 competition.
"Hi loves, Let's remember that everything won't always go our way. But what defines us is how we react and act. Let's focus on the positive things! Spread love only!" she wrote.
The 27-year-old stunner also urged the public to support Indonesia's Ketut Permata Juliastrid, who was crowned Miss Cosmo 2024.
"Let's keep the spirit of women empowerment and celebrate Tata for her win!"
The beauty queen ended her Miss Cosmo 2024 as one of the top 10 finalists at the pageant.
Although she was not included in the Top 5, Ahtisa was later named Cosmo Tea Culture Tourism Ambassador.
In the finals, Ahtisa turned heads in a metallic red two-piece and a sheer black cape during the swimsuit competition round. She completed her look with dangling earrings and pointed metallic silver heels, as well as smokey makeup and a wavy hairstyle.
The Quezon-based beauty queen also wowed the audience when she showed up in Mak Tumang's nude-hued gown with violet touches during the evening gown portion of the pageant.
In the national costume round, she brought out the Filipino mermaid character Dyesebel from Mars Ravelo’s comic book. She wore a vibrant orange ensemble from Ehrran Montoya with fabrics mirroring the ocean, shimmering scales, beaded patterns, and hand and headpieces similar to a mermaid’s tail.
This makes her among the frontrunners in the competition's "National Pride" challenge, placing third.
Prior to the finals, she won the "First Station" of the People’s Choice Award because of her "beauty, grace, and intelligence," which granted her an automatic spot in the Top 10 finalists of the competition.
