Sunshine Cruz, Cesar Montano spotted together at daughter Angelina's birthday celebration

Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano reunited yet again for the 21st birthday of their first daughter Angelina. 

On Instagram, the actress shared snaps from Angelina's birthday celebration, which was also attended by her former husband Cesar and the latter's current partner as well as Angelina's half-brother Diego Loyzaga.

"Happy Birthday to our panganay, [Angelina]," Cruz wrote in the caption. 

"You know how proud I am of you Angelina," she added. "We love you so much anak! Always here for you! Have a blast."

The family celebrated Angelina's birthday at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club in Makati City. 

The 46-year-old local star shared more snaps from the love-filled affair in a separate Instagram post. 

The ex-lovers reunited in August 2022 when their second child, Sam, turned another year older. The two were seen in one frame alongside the birthday celebrant and their two other children Chesca and Angelina. They also attended Sam's graduation in May this year.

Last year, Sunshine took to Facebook to show appreciation for those who continue to support their modern family set-up.

“[Nakakatuwa] na makita that you guys appreciate our (blended) family. Masayang masaya especially ang mga bata and their happiness is my happiness,” she said. 

"Dumating na sa amin ang oras na kalimutan ang past, move forward and to have a better relationship. We are family afterall," she continued. 

Sunshine and Cesar tied the knot in September 2000. Their marriage was annulled in September 2018 after a legal battle that lasted for about four years.
