Lee Jae-wook, aespa's Karina are 'getting to know each other,' says agency

Alchemy of Souls star Lee Jae-wook and aespa's Karina are confirmed to be dating. 

According to Korean media entertainment outlet Soompi, Jae-wook’s agency CJes Studios and Karina’s agency SM Entertainment, both said that both are "getting to know each other."

CJes Studios added, "Lee Jae-wook is currently filming [a drama], and as this involves his private life, we ask for warm respect to be shown."

This came after a report from Dispatch said that the two celebrities reportedly started dating after meeting at the Prada fashion show during the Milan Fashion Week on January 14 of this year. 

"They continued their relationship from Milan into Seoul. They took it to the 'Next Level'. Despite their busy schedule due to performances and dramas, they enjoyed their time together whenever they had time," Dispatch wrote on Tuesday, Feb. 27.

It added, "Karina is currently living in an accommodation. She usually meets Lee Jae-wook in his neighborhood. (Late at night), they were spotted taking a quiet walk in a deserted residential park."

A source close to the two also told the media outlet that they "fell in love at first sight," adding, "They fell in love from the moment they first met each other at the fashion show."

After making his television debut in 2018 in the drama Memories of the Alhambra on tvN, Jae Wook has subsequently starred in several dramas, including Search: WWW, Extraordinary You, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, Alchemy of Souls, and Death's Game.

On the other hand, Karina debuted as a member of the girl group aespa in 2020. They are best known for their hit songs, including Black Mamba, Next Level, Savage, Girls, and Spicy.
