Frank Magalona, Maxene Magalona seemingly react to late father Francis M's alleged secret lover
Two of Francis Magalona's children, Frank and Maxene, intrigued social media users after they seemingly reacted to the news about their late father's alleged secret romance and love child.
On Wednesday, Oct. 19, the late Francis M made headlines after Abegail Rait, a former flight attendant, claimed she had a relationship with the “King of Philippine rap” in an episode of the YouTube series Pinoy Pawnstars.
In the episode, Abegail presented a varsity shirt owned by Francis M, including their old photo together and a signed note that says, “Abegail hon, I love you so much.”
She then shared the “untold story” of the shirt, claiming that they had a relationship and that they shared a love child, named Gaile Francesca, now 15 years old.
The revelations quickly made rounds on social media, and while there are those who found the story amusing, most reactions criticized the alleged affair. Social media user @JoseIknow posted on X it was “weird” for Abigail to publicize the alleged affair, calling her a “homewrecker” and a “mistress.”
“I find it weird watching the video of Pinoy Pawnstar where a homewrecker revealed his affair with Francis M., saying, '15 years akong nanamihik.' Of course, you will. You're a mistress. Duh,” she wrote.
While the Magalona family has yet to address the issue, eagle-eyed netizens spotted that Frank, the eldest son of the Magalona siblings liked the post.
Meanwhile, Maxene appeared to respond to the issue by reposting a quote by motivational speaker Laura Dawn.
“Shout out to everyone who’s learning how to transmute sacred rage into acts of kindness,” the now-expired Instagram story read.
Earlier, Maxene and her family paid tribute to their late father on his birthday, reminiscing and sharing their favorite memories and life lessons he imparted.
