Korean entertainment industry postpones events, launches in light of Moonbin’s passing
Members of the Korean entertainment industry are in a period of mourning amid the passing of ASTRO member Moonbin. Many activities and releases are postponed and canceled.
KBS’ Music Bank will air as planned on Thursday, April 20, but has asked its guests to wear black, according to Allkpop.
Some K-pop artists, including iKON, Xdinary Heroes, Xikers, and The Wind, have also decided to cancel the launch of their teaser contents.
Le Sserafim has decided to postpone their filming for talk show Men on a Mission, which was originally scheduled for April 20.
ITZY and Younite will also move the premiere of their latest YouTube content to another date.
Singer/actress IU will also not be doing interviews and has asked to reschedule the press conference for her upcoming film Dream.
Girl group Billlie has also halted activities, appearances, and fan sign events for the time being. One of its members, Moon Sua, is the younger sister of Moonbin.
Moonbin was discovered deceased in his home on the evening of April 19, his agency confirmed.
He recently visited Manila together with co-member Sanha for their 'DIFFUSION in Manila' fan concert at the New Frontier Theater last March 25.
