TWICE's Tzuyu confirms master's degree in applied psychology
TWICE's Tzuyu is not just a pretty face. This talented singer and performer proves she also has brains after confirming that she has earned a master's degree in applied psychology.
During a recent fan call with X user sorakonnn, the 25-year-old Taiwanese singer was asked if the rumors about her master's degree were true.
"Yes. Whenever I was free, I would go online to study," Tzuyu replied, adding that she studied for over a year.

Recently, a flyer from Tzuyu's elementary school days revealed the actress's impressive academic record, sparking online buzz. It was reportedly created by her elementary school, Fuxing Elementary School, for its 30th anniversary.
The institution listed all the achievements of Tzuyu, whose real name is Chou Tzu-yu, including being the third soloist from TWICE, graduating from Hanlim Arts High School, making the list of TC Candler's most beautiful faces, and earning a master's degree in applied psychology from Miguel de Cervantes European University in Spain.
While others doubted the flyer's authenticity, others praised the K-pop star for her academic achievement.
"On top of studying at a university for her master's degree, Tzuyu also uses her free time to do philanthropic works too. Beauty, brains, talent and heart. Tzuyu really is the complete package," one user said.
Tzuyu’s solo debut was announced in August. A month later, she debuted her solo single and music video, Run Away, the same day she released her debut mini-album, abouTZU, which has six tracks.
TWICE's 14th mini album, Strategy, featuring Megan Thee Stallion, recently debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, making them the first K-pop girl group to achieve six top 10 albums.
