Is ITZY's Lia one step closer to making her comeback?

The girl group recently announced that it will hold a livestream on YouTube on July 8 in celebration of its fandom's fifth anniversary.

"GV Night with ITZY," the Instagram story read.

It also included a list of the members as "Cast," including Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Yuna, and the currently on hiatus Lia.

ITZY announced in September 2023 that Lia would be taking a break from the band and its activities due to health reasons.

"I felt like I needed to take some time off to love and fill myself first," she wrote on Sept. 18, as translated by K-entertainment site Soompi.

"As I always say, I sincerely hope that MIDZY will be happy. I will work to return in good health in order to repay how much MIDZY wait and worry for me," she added.

Fans on X (formerly Twitter) expressed their excitement over seeing Lia's name in the teaser.

"LIA IS JOINING ARE YOU SERIOUS PLEASE," one user said.

"WITH LIA OMGGG," added another.

While the idol has been on a temporary hiatus, the girl group released their second studio album, Born to Be, which also features the 23-year-old's solo track, Blossom.

The members have also launched their personal Instagram accounts and are currently on their second world tour, which will have a stop in Manila on August 3 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

ITZY's upcoming live stream will take place on July 8 at 8:30 p.m. Korea time (7:30 p.m. Philippine time).

The group first debuted in February 2019 under JYP Entertainment with IT'z Different. They're also known for their hit songs WANNABE, DOMINO, Not Shy, Born to Be, and Wild Wild West.
